Introduced by the Human Services Committee of the:

RESOLUTION #01-106

WHEREAS, Ferris State University operates the only teaching program specifically designed to develop environmental health specialists; and

WHEREAS, Ferris State University has requested that the Ingham County Health Department provide field placement (clinical) experiences for environmental health students; and

WHEREAS, the Environmental Health Director has recommended that the Board of Commissioners enter into an agreement with Ferris State University to facilitate the requested field training experience.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes an agreement with Ferris State University to provide for environmental health field placement experiences for students.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the period of the agreement shall be May 1, 2001 through April 30, 2004, and that the Board Chairperson is authorized to sign the agreement after review by the County Attorney.
