RESOLUTION HONORING TOM CLINTON FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE INGHAM COUNTY HISTORICAL COMMISSION

RESOLUTION #01-137

WHEREAS, Tom Clinton began serving on the Historical Commission in December of 1986; and

WHEREAS, prior to serving on the Historical Commission, Tom also served as a member of the Arts Commission; and

WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Historical Commission, Tom took a leadership role serving in such positions as Secretary, Chairperson and County Historian; and

WHEREAS, Tom conducted numerous tours of the Ingham County Courthouse educating the public on the history behind the building; and

WHEREAS, Tom has also maintained the County's museum of historical artifacts that have been donated and accumulated throughout the years; and

WHEREAS, after many years of dedicated service, Tom Clinton resigned from his position as County Historian for the Ingham County Historical Commission.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Tom Clinton for his years of dedicated service to the Ingham County Historical Commission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
