INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REORGANIZATION IN THE CONTROLLER'S OFFICE

RESOLUTION #01-146

WHEREAS, a vacancy in the position of Deputy Controller for Administrative Services/ Personnel has occurred and presents another opportunity to evaluate how the County does its business and how it might become more cost effective; and

WHEREAS, the County Controller is recommending a reorganization which provides for continuing to carry out responsibilities, while achieving approximately $20,000 annually in cost savings; and

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has reviewed the proposed changes, and had recommended appropriate classifications and wage levels.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following classification changes are approved:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the current Senior Budget Analyst is reclassified to the position of Budget Director following adoption of this resolution as provided by normal county procedures.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the position titled Deputy Controller of Law & Courts and Human Services is to be retitled Deputy Controller.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller and Human Resources Director are authorized to implement this resolution.
