RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE AND APPLICATION OF LIQUID CHLORIDE FOR 2001

RESOLUTION #01-159

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Purchasing Department solicited quotes for the purchase and application of liquid chloride for use at Lake Lansing Park-South, Lake Lansing Park-North, Burchfield Park and Rayner Park; and

WHEREAS, the continued use of liquid chloride on the gravel roads and parking areas of the parks eliminates dust and aides in the maintenance of park roads and parking areas; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Parks Department has identified the funds for this purchase within the 2001 Parks Department operating budget.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the purchase and application of liquid chloride, for use within the county parks, from Big Barney's Road Maintenance, in an amount not to exceed $12,120.00.
