INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH THE NORTHEAST INGHAM EMERGENCY SERVICES AUTHORITY FOR THE PROVISION OF 911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE DISPATCH SERVICE FOR 2001

RESOLUTION #01-235

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners contracted with the Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority for the Provision of 911 and Emergency Telephone Dispatch Service through December 31, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Service Millage was renewed for the time period of 2000 through 2003; and

WHEREAS, the County and NIESA wish to extend these contracts for the current fiscal year.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes an amendment extending the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Service Contract between the County and the Northeast Ingham Emergency Services Authority (NIESA) for the time period January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001 for an additional $ 39,197.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
