RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ELECTION OF COMMISSIONER CALVIN LYNCH

TO A SEAT ON THE MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

RESOLUTION #01-240

WHEREAS, Calvin Lynch is desirous of election to a seat on the Michigan Association of Counties Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, as a member of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners for three years, Calvin currently serves as Chairperson of the Law & Courts Committee and as a member of the Finance Committee and has previously served on the Administrative Services/Personnel committee; and

WHEREAS, Calvin Lynch represents the Ingham County Board of Commissioners on the Capital Area Airport Authority, Tri-County Regional Planning Commission, Capital Area Michigan Works, Capital Area Health Alliance and Community Action Agency; and

WHEREAS, Calvin Lynch is an attorney, assessor, pilot and small business owner.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners unanimously goes on record in support of the election of Commissioner Calvin Lynch to a seat on the Michigan Association of Counties Board of Directors.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the other County Board of Commissioners in this region.
