RESOLUTION HONORING BRANDON LAUMER



RESOLUTION #01-52



WHEREAS, Brandon Laumer is a senior at Williamston High School, where he is active in varsity soccer; and



WHEREAS, he joined Cub Scout Pack #263 when he was 8 years old, earned the Arrow of Light and joined the Boy Scouts in February of 1994; and



WHEREAS, Brandon is a member of Williamston's Boy Scout Troop #63, which is chartered by the Williamston Kiwanis Club; and



WHEREAS, he has served in many leadership roles including Assistant Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, and has earned 24 merit badges, as well as the World Conservation Award, and



WHEREAS, Brandon has earned the highest rank attainable in Scouting, the Eagle Scout



WHEREAS, to achieve the Eagle rank, a scout must demonstrate leadership and citizenship while earning 21 merit badges before reaching the age of 18; and



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners congratulate Brandon Laumer for earning the rank of Eagle Scout and extend its sincere appreciation to Brandon for serving as a positive role model for the youth in our community.
