RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH K.R. SALES TO PURCHASE FIVE COMMERCIAL HUMIDIFIERS FOR THE HUMAN SERVICES BUILDING

RESOLUTION #01-80

WHEREAS, it has been determined that the humidifiers at the Human Services Building are in need of replacement; and

WHEREAS, the funds for the purchase of said humidifiers is currently available within the Major Projects Capital Improvement Plan 2001; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department solicited proposals for the purchase of five (5) commercial humidifiers, the proposals were reviewed by both the Purchasing and Facilities Departments; and

WHEREAS, K.R. Sales submitted the lowest responsive proposal for the purchase of five (5) commercial humidifiers for the Human Services Building for a total price of $18,477.00.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes entering into an agreement with K.R. Sales, 506 S. Charles St., Lansing, MI 48912 for the purchase of five (5) commercial humidifiers for the Human Services Building for a total cost of $18,477.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and County Clerk to sign the same.
