INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF A SURPLUS DENTAL CHAIR

RESOLUTION #02-100

WHEREAS, due to the replacement of two dental chairs in the Ingham County Health Department's Dental clinic has resulted in a surplus of dental chairs that are of no significant value to County operations; and

WHEREAS, the vendor of the replacement chairs, Sullivan Schein, has advised the department of a buyer for one of the chairs for the amount of $500 to Dr. Kevin Grimm, DDS; and

WHEREAS, the Health Department Director and Purchasing Director are recommending the sale of the surplus chair over other disposal alternatives, and the other dental chair be disposed due to lack of resale value.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorize the sale of said surplus dental chair to Dr. Kevin Grimm, DDS in the amount of $500.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the monies received from the sale of said items be recognized as revenue in the Health Department's budget.
