INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION HONORING ADULT CROSSING GUARDS

RESOLUTION #02-122

WHEREAS, over 100 adult crossing guards watch over our children as they walk to and from school in the Clinton, Eaton and Ingham County area; and

WHEREAS, the adult crossing guards are an outstanding group of citizens sincerely committed to assuring the safety of the children, and at times in very inclement weather conditions; and

WHEREAS; the Lansing Area Safety Council will be honoring the crossing guards at an Appreciation Dinner on May 15, 2002.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor the adult crossing guards for the countless hours they have devoted protecting and watching over our children as they travel to and from school.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board sincerely appreciates their contributions to the citizens of the tri-county area and extends its best wishes to each and every one of them.
