RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY A PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE POSITION

RESOLUTION #02-168

WHEREAS, a Public Health Nurse I has been assigned to act as a lead person for Maternal and Infant Outreach workers and to support the Jump Start Program Coordinator with a larger outreach program; and

WHEREAS, these duties are not consistent with the Public Health Nurse I job description; and

WHEREAS, at the request of the Health Officer, the Human Resources Department has reviewed the job duties and determined that they are consistent with the Public Health Nurse II position; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the reclassification of the position to make job description consistent with job duties.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby reclassifies position number HLHNUR034 from Public Health Nurse I to Public Health Nurse II, effective July 1, 2002.
