INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO RECLASSIFY THREE MANAGERIAL POSITIONS IN THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT

RESOLUTION #02-169

WHEREAS, three health center managerial positions are vacant as a result of retirements; and

WHEREAS, the Health Department has consulted with the Human Resources Department to evaluate these positions; and

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has determined that the three positions be classified as Health Center Administrators, Managerial level 10; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has recommended that the Board of Commissioners establish the three positions as Health Center Administrators.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby reclassifies the following positions and establishes the qualifications for the positions as:

• -Bachelor's Degree, supported by course work in administration.



• -Three years of professional experience in a county health department, hospital or other health care organization working with medical providers, patients, and community organizations.



• -It is preferred that candidates be Registered Nurses.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that position number HLHADU001 (Adult Health Clinic Coordinator - M11), position number HLHSVC008 (Health Center Administrator/Sparrow - M10) and position #HLHCHH013 (Child Health Clinic Coordinator - M11) be reclassified a Health Center Administrator, with the salary range of Managerial 10.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that these changes shall be effective July 13, 2002.
