RESOLUTION #02-176

WHEREAS, Connie Lange has been employed with Ingham County for more than twenty-seven years; and

WHEREAS, Connie Lange began her career on March 31, 1975 as Clerk Typist in the Treasurer's Office; and

WHEREAS, on August 15, 1977 Connie was promoted to Clerk Steno II to the Controller; and then on November 17, 1979 she was promoted to Clerk Steno III; and

WHEREAS, on January 10, 1983, Connie was appointed to the new position of Insurance Coordinator; she was very active on the Health Coalition and greatly aided the retirees and employees with their health insurance issues; and

WHEREAS, Connie Lange retired from her position as Risk and Insurance Administrator effective July 1, 2002; and

WHEREAS, Connie and her husband Richard will relocate to Wisconsin to be near their only son and granddaughter.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honors Connie Lange for her many years of dedicated service to the County of Ingham and extends its sincere appreciation for her dedication and commitment to the employees, retirees and citizens of Ingham County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes Connie continued success in her future endeavors.
