INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO PURCHASE FOUR LIFEPAK 12 DEFIBRILLATOR/MONITORS

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Paramedic Unit has a Trust Account from funds donated from a private person; and

WHEREAS, the Paramedic Unit has a need to replace several older model LifePak 10 Defibrillator/Monitors; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Purchasing Department has an agreement with Medtronic Physio-Control to purchase four (4) defibrillators at a cost of $34,864.00; and

WHEREAS, no other County funds will be necessary for the purchase of the defibrillators.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Purchasing Department and the Ingham County Sheriff's Office to purchase four (4) LifePak 12 Biphasic Defibrillator/Monitors from Medtronic Physio-Control at a total cost of $34,864.00

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds will come from the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Paramedic Unit Trust Account $34,339.00 with the balance of $525.00 to come from the Paramedics supply line item

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller's Office to make any necessary adjustment in the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 2002 Budget for the purchase of the defibrillators.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chair and the County Clerk to sign any necessary contract documents that are consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
