RESOLUTION HONORING DEPUTY CLIFFORD OAKLEY
RESOLUTION #02-316
WHEREAS, Deputy Clifford Oakley began his career with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office in 1987; and
WHEREAS, during his years of service with the Sheriff's Office, Clifford worked in the Jail, Receiving, Road Patrol and the Detective Bureau; and
WHEREAS, Clifford graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and is a member of the American Legion and U.S. Marine Corps Association; and
WHEREAS, he served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1962 through 1967 when he received an honorable discharge; and
WHEREAS, after more than 38 years of service, Deputy Clifford Oakley has retired from his position with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honors Deputy Clifford Oakley for his many years of dedicated service to the County of Ingham and its citizens.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
