RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE INGHAM COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

TO ACCEPT FUNDS TO PURCHASE A LIGHT SYSTEM FOR HEAVY RESCUE

RESOLUTION #02-319

WHEREAS, Ray Bollis has offered to donate the sum of $385.00 for the purpose of purchasing a light system for the Heavy Rescue Squad; and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office can use this light system at landing zones, Haz-Mat spills and traffic accidents, as well as being utilized by the Dive Team, to assist in crime scene investigation and provide officer safety.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the acceptance of a donation of $385.00 from Ray Bollis to the Ingham County Sheriff's Office, Heavy Rescue Squad to purchase said light system.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners expresses their appreciation to Ray Bollis for his support of the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Heavy Rescue Squad.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Ingham County Sheriff's Office to accept the donation and the Controller to make any necessary budget adjustments in the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 2002 budget.
