INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROTEMPS CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE IJIS PROJECT DURING 2003

RESOLUTION #02-320

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners authorized the establishment of a IJIS position through Resolution #01- 304 and through a reorganization authorized by Resolution #02- 215 the vacant IJIS Coordinator/Analyst position was changed from a ICEA Level 8 to a ICEA Level 9; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is under contract with Pro-Temps, Inc. for professional management services on the IJIS project; and

WHEREAS, the last authorization was through 2002 to help transition to a new County position from the implementation to operational phase of the IJIS project; and

WHEREAS, the IJIG's Committee is recommending that the Pro-Temps, Inc. contract be continued on a part time basis through 2003 in lieu of hiring a full time position as previously authorized.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners shall continue a contract with Pro-Temps for professional management services for the IJIS Project to be continued on a part time basis as determined by the IJIG'S Committee and the Controller though 2003 not to exceed $60,071.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to make the necessary budget adjustments to the 2003 Budget in accordance with this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract funds will come from the IJIS budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the IJIG's Committee, the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
