INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROTEMPS CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR PROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE IJIS PROJECT

RESOLUTION #02-97

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners authorized the establishment of an IJIS position through Resolution #01-304; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is under contract with ProTemps for professional management services on the IJIS project; and

WHEREAS, the last authorization was through March of 2002 to help transition to a new County position from the implementation to operational phase of the IJIS project; and

WHEREAS, the IJIG's Committee is recommending that the ProTemps' contract be continued on a part time basis or for a limited duration to help transition to the operational phase.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners shall continue a contract with ProTemps for professional management services for the IJIS project to be continued on a part time temporary basis as determined by the IJIG's Committee and the Controller but not to continue after August 31, 2002 or for more than $ 22,496.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to make the necessary budget adjustments to the 2002 Budget in accordance with this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract funds will come from the IJIS budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the IJIG's Committee, the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
