INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS



RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT A $7,025.00 GRANT FROM THE

CAPITAL AREA UNITED WAY



RESOLUTION #03-101



WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has a Child Identification Program; and



WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office is seeking to purchase advanced technology to improve the Child Identification Program; and



WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has sought foundation dollars to fund this effort; and



WHEREAS, the Capital Area United Way has granted $7,025.00 to the Child Identification Program, for the purchase of computer software, digital fingerprint scanner and digital camera.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves the acceptance of a grant of $7,025.00 from the Capital Area United Way for the time period of March 14, 2003 to March 13, 2004.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners thanks the Capital Area United Way for their generosity.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk to sign any necessary contract documents that are consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners directs the Treasurer's Office to deposit the $7,025.00 grant monies and the Controller's Office to make the necessary budget adjustments in the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 2003 budget.
