RESOLUTION HONORING BRUCE UTTER

RESOLUTION #03-246

WHEREAS, Bruce Utter began his employment with the Ingham County Clerk's Office as a temporary employee in June of 1984 and was hired as an Elections Clerk on April 26, 1985; and

WHEREAS, during his 18 years of service to Ingham County, Bruce has proven to be a valuable asset in the Clerk's office, as well as gaining the confidence of local clerk's and the State Bureau of Elections; and

WHEREAS, Bruce has been a valuable link between the Ingham County elections office, the State of Michigan and the local clerks during start-up and implementation of the computerized Qualified Voter File; and

WHEREAS, among Bruce's many duties was receiving and reviewing Campaign Finance Reports and his expertise in this area has been recognized and appreciated by many; and

WHEREAS, Bruce will be sorely missed as he leaves his position with Ingham County to assume the position of Elections Coordinator with the City of Lansing.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners extends its sincere appreciation to Bruce Utter for his dedicated service to Ingham County and wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
