RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING OFFICE FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE NEW 55^TH DISTRICT COURT JUDGE AND A CONTINGENCY APPROPRIATION

RESOLUTION #05-195

WHEREAS, Thomas P. Boyd, Assistant Attorney General, has been appointed 55^th Judicial District Court Judge; and

WHEREAS, the 55th District Court is in need of funds to purchase new office furniture and equipment; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has identified a Not to Exceed sum for this needed office furniture and equipment.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby approves amending the 2005 55^th  District Court’s budget by increasing it up to $10,000 for the purposes of purchasing  new office furniture and necessary equipment for the new District Court Judge.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller will transfer the funds for this purpose out of the 2005 Contingency Fund to the 55^th District Court’s Budget pending final costs for the furniture and equipment.
