INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING MARGE SHOWERMAN ON BEING SELECTED AS THE “2010 WEBBERVILLE CITIZEN OF THE YEAR”

RESOLUTION #10-262

WHEREAS, the Webberville Masonic Lodge and the Webberville Citizen of the Year Committee have selected Marge Showerman “Webberville Citizen of the Year” for 2010; and

WHEREAS, Marge is a member of the Webberville United Methodist Women, as well as a member of the Women's Advance Club, County Extension Homemakers and Friends of the Library; and

WHEREAS, Marge is also an active member, and past president of the Webberville Garden Club; and

WHEREAS, Marge assists with fundraisers to help find a cure for autism, which afflicts one of her great- grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, she has served as an inspiration to the Webberville community with her work ethic and willingness to improve the community surroundings.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby congratulates Marge Showerman on being selected as the 2010 Webberville Citizen of the Year.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board extends its sincere appreciation for her devotion and contributions to the Webberville community and for making a difference in the lives of the residents of Ingham County.
