WE DO...
Composed
of specific representatives, no appointments necessary. Term
is equal to length of office. This Board determines whether
or not to grant permits to citizens to make application for
various uses of handguns. It notifies those applicants whom
it wants to interview. After the Board meetings, it turns
over the approved list at the County Clerk's Office, which
prepares the permits and then notifies the applicants by mail
when the permits are ready. This Board has the power to revoke
a gun permit.
