WHAT WE DO...

The Environmental Affairs Committee is appointed by the County Services Committee to 2 year terms.  The Environmental Affairs Committee utilizes the professional expertise of its members, site visits, research and interaction with County personnel to evaluate County properties and advise the County Board of Commissioners on how the County can manage its properties in an environmentally responsible manner. The Commission also advises the Board of Commissioners of general environmental issues and concerns regarding lands in proximity to County properties.
