MILLAGE
RENEWAL PROPOSAL
This proposal will allow the Charter Township of Delhi to maintain the
millage levied for Fire Department purposes on all taxable property and
renews the millage that expired with the 2008 tax levy.
Shall the
previously voted increase in the authorized charter millage for the
Charter Township of Delhi which may be assessed on all taxable property
as defined by law within said Township be renewed at one-half (1/2) mill
($.50 per $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of six (6) years,
2009 through 2014, inclusive, for the purpose of defraying, in whole or
in part, the cost of operating the Delhi Charter Township Fire
Department, including, but not limited to, acquisition, repair,
replacement and maintenance of Fire Department equipment apparatus, and
for education and training of Fire Department personnel, which levy is
estimated to raise, in the first fiscal year of the levy, an estimated
$404,279?

and other conditions as may be approved by the Department of

Northwest Community Schools BONDING PROPOSAL
