INGHAM COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS AND EXPOSITION CENTER   Fair Office Administration Carol Carlson, Interim Executive Director The Fair Office is located on the beautiful campus of the Ingham County Fairgrounds  at 700 E. Ash Street, Mason, MI 48854. The Board may be reached by calling 517-676-2428 or by facsimile at 517-676-3733. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 am -12:00 noon and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.   SERVICES PROVIDED: (Long-term Objective: Support Recreational Opportunities)   Ingham County has hosted the Ingham County Fair for over 150 years. This event involves families from all over the county from Lansing to Stockbridge. The Fair plays a very important role in the community and the county. To have a successful Fair, the Fair Board works very closely with the 4-H Clubs in the area, giving young people the opportunity to display skills learned through their club, and to demonstrate their work at the Fair.   The Fairgrounds are maintained and rented during the off-season for horse shows, sports shows, R.V. shows, automotive sales, rabbit shows, dog shows, craft shows and equipment consignment auctions, all bringing thousands of visitors to the region.
