HOME IMPROVEMENT LOANS ARE AVAILABLE

If your adjusted annual income is $70,750 or less, based on the number of persons in your family, you may qualify for a low (or no) interest home improvement loan.

The Ingham County Housing Commission has funds from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and local lending institutions to rehabilitate owner-occupied homes in Ingham County (excluding Lansing and East Lansing).  MSHDA loans are low or no interest based on income and family size.

Eligible Items include:

- repairing or replacing the roof
- installing insulation
- replacement of furnace
- installation of new windows or doors
- painting or siding of exterior of  home

 and many more.
