COMMUNITY HEALTH REPRESENTATIVE II #08-018 (Part Time) $14.05/hr. - $16.86/hr.
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of moderately complex clerical tasks to assist in the processing of a variety of health department records and providing clerical support to other staff in the Immunization Clinic. Enrolls clients in programs and answers questions on departmental procedures, eligibility requirements, scheduling, and related matters. Types a variety of forms and documents, completes various documents with information from the client or from file documentation, and assists in maintaining record keeping systems. Performs data entry and creates reports. Works to maintain order and coordination during busy immunization periods, such as school enrollment and flu clinics. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions: With or without accommodations, this employee must be capable of sitting for long periods of time daily. Must be able to be present at work daily, as attendance is a mandatory requirement of employment. Must be able to verbally greet and explain clinic services to the general public in person and over the telephone. Must be able to communicate with the public using handwriting. Lifts, pushes and pulls weights (30 lbs to 50 lbs) daily. Stands, sits, bends and squats for various lengths of time daily. Must be able to operate general office equipment such as typewriters, computers, copiers, fax, etc., as regular daily duties of the position.
Degree/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent education required. Must have 1 to 2 years relevant work experience. Medical office or clinical experiences desired and preferred. Good public relations skills a must. Computer experience, data entry and Word software experience required. Must pass battery of clerical/computer evaluations. Please submit resume with application.
