On this site you will find a variety of information pertaining to the 4-H County awards program.  Please take time to read about each award and its requirements and encourage your members to complete applications.  For those awards that require someone to be nominated, please consider nominating someone!

The awards process has been modified in recent years to simplify the application process.  Members and leaders can look through the award options to determine the qualifications and what forms need to be completed.  A MEMBER ONLY HAS TO FILL OUT EACH FORM ONCE EVEN IF USING IT TO APPLY FOR MULTIPLE AWARDS.  PLEASE FILL OUT THE COVER SHEET ONE PER PERSON TO BE STAPLED TO THE TOP OF YOUR ENTRY.

The 4-H office automatically creates certificates recognizing 4-H Leaders for their years of service.  This award is given to the leader at the Member/ Leader Recognition Event.  An invitation will be sent to the leaders inviting them to the Recognition Open House.  This year the event will be on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Building at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.

If a member needs help filling out the forms they may have an Ambassador or leader help them.  Members are also welcome to contact the 4-H office for questions or assistance. Stephanie (517) 676-7300 or the office (517) 676-7207.
