(Intake Hearings, Juvenile Detention Facility)
The Youth Center is located at 700 E. Jolly Rd, Lansing, Michigan, directly behind the Human Service Building. This is a short-term secure detention facility for delinquent youth from the ages of 12 to 17. It is a self-contained program where the youth can be closely monitored in a structured setting 24 hours per day. In addition to the intensive supervision, the facility provides educational programming, medical services as needed, psychological services, and counseling.
