     Don't let the snow keep you inside! Come enjoy your Ingham County Parks during one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Cross Country Ski through the majestic, snow capped forest at Lake Lansing North Park in Haslett or take a thrilling ride with your friends down one of our 700 foot toboggan runs at Burchfield Park in Holt.

Try Ski Skating at Burchfield Park.  This is a blend of cross country skiing and ice skating that creates a faster, and more efficient form of cross country skiing.  At Burchfield Park ski skating trails are groomed for this sport, and the moderate terrain makes it easy to get started.  Bring your ski skating equipment and try our newly developed ski-skating trails. 

At Burchfield Park you can "moonlight ski" on Friday nights (when weather conditions are satisfactory).  Two miles of cross-country trails are illuminated from 6:00pm to 9:00pm for great winter family fun.
