The best times to view the animals when they are
most active is from approximately 9:00am to 2:00pm,
especially during the cooler fall days.
Keep in mind that 3:30pm is dinner time at the Zoo and the animals
are allowed to go in and out of their cages.

PARKING RATES AT POTTER PARK AND
THE POTTER PARK ZOO BEGINNING JULY 1ST, 2007
The Ingham County Board of Commissioners has approved the following new fee structure which will be implemented on July 1st, 2007. In an effort to standardize the parking fees at Potter Park to be in line with existing Ingham County Parks the parking fee was reduced from $5.00 per vehicle to $2.00 for Ingham County residents and $4.00 for non-Ingham County residents. You may now also purchase annual parking passes for $20.00 for Ingham County residents and $40.00 for non-Ingham County residents. This parking pass is good at all Ingham County Parks.
In addition, Potter Park Zoo admission for Ingham County resident adults now costs $4.00 instead of $5.00. Non-Ingham County resident rates were raised (see listing below).
