Throughout the day animal caretakers will give selected residents palate-pleasing treats as part of the Zoo’s enrichment program, which is designed to stimulate natural behaviors in the animals such as foraging and play. The fun-filled family event allows the Zoo to exercise its conservation practices by recycling the Boo at the Zoo pumpkins, and gives animals and spectators a special treat as the animals explore, play and finally eat their annual treats.
