Want to Volunteer on the "wild" side? Join us here at the zoo, on Saturday, April 10th, to find out just how fun and rewarding volunteering at the zoo can be! Zoo volunteers are
passionate about our zoo, and help make their community and their zoo better each year! What do our volunteers do, you ask? A LOT! They help with special events like our International Migratory Bird
Day in May and Rhino Romp in June; our "Wine and Stein" evenings at the zoo, and of course "Boo at the Zoo"! They garden with our Horticulturist, create light sculptures for
our winter "Wonderland of Lights" or help out in our Zoovenier Shop! Zoo Volunteers help build animal enrichment items, research animal information, teach zoo visitors about environmental
issues and so much more!
Find out why over 100 people gave nearly 5000 hours at the zoo just last year!
If you have questions about this event, please call Michele Fox at (517) 342-2717 or email her.
