Potter Park Zoo Society
Mission Statement
The Potter Park Zoological Society, a non-profit private sector organization, is dedicated to the support of the Potter Park Zoo (1) through preserving, protecting, and exhibiting selected members of the animal kingdom so that future generations of mankind may thrive in harmony with nature, and (2) through providing a quality environment where visitors from all over may delight in the essence of a living earth. Education, recreation, and conservation together with zoo accreditation provide the strategic direction for the mission.
