Meetings, receptions, birthdays, workshops, reunions, retreats ... whatever your rental needs, the Safari Room at the Potter Park Zoo is a great place to be! Located on the lush grounds of the zoo, the new Safari Room offers a one-of-a-kind environment that will get your colleagues, friends, or family members really hopping!

Here are just some of the Safari Room's amenities:

- Accommodates up to 250 guests in lecture-type seating
- Accommodates up to 175 guests in banquet seating
- Includes 6 large televisions that can be used for multimedia presentations
- We can help you arrange catering and entertainment (clowns, magicians, musicians)--including special conservation, preservation, and animal-related educational programs for children and adults For an additional fee, you may also rent our audio-visual equipment, including DVD or VCR players, CD player, electric screen, projectors, microphones, laptop computers, video cameras, and more. If you have a smaller group of 30 or fewer people and don't need access to television monitors, you may also rent one of our classrooms for only $100.00 a day.

- 1-50 Guests: $50
- 50-100 Guests: $100
- 100-150 Guests: $150
- 150 and up: $200

We require a $200 nonrefundable deposit to hold the Safari Room and payment in full one month before your event. A $200 damage deposit will be added and returned to renter after the custodian has cleaned the room Any damage will be deducted from this deposit. In the event of a cancellation, you may move your deposit to another date.
