We are currently accepting applications for a 9 month, paid zookeeper internship program to start May 3, 2010.  This internship will provide practical experience for those interested in the zoo keeping field.  Interns will work alongside the zookeepers in many aspects of their profession including exhibit maintenance and upkeep, diet preparation, enrichment, assisting with veterinary procedures, record keeping and public presentations.  The intern will work throughout the zoo including domestic and exhibit animals.  Please apply by filling out the online employment form, and submitting a resume and cover letter by March 17, 2010.
