INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT $496.00

FROM THE MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT TO

ASSIST WITH THE "TASK FORCE" INVESTIGATION

RESOLUTION #04-118

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has assembled a "Task Force" to investigate several unsolved homicides; and

WHEREAS, the Meridian Township Police Department has assisted the Ingham County Sheriff's Office with the Task Force investigation; and

WHEREAS, the Meridian Township Police Department was interested in offsetting some of the costs of the Task Force; and

WHEREAS, the Meridian Township Police Department presented $496.00 to the Ingham County Sheriff's Office to assist with the Task Force investigation.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners Authorizes the Ingham County Sheriff's Office to accept $496.00 from the Meridian Township Police Department to offset costs that have been incurred as a result of the "Task Force" investigation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller to deposit the $496.00 into account number 101-30102-967000 and to make any necessary adjustments in the Ingham Sheriff's Office budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners appreciates the assistance from the Meridian Township Police Department to the Sheriff's Office with the "Task Force" investigation.
