INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT A $25,000 DONATION FROM THE ESTATE OF ALBERT A. WHITE FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO LAKE LANSING PARK-NORTH

RESOLUTION #04-158

WHEREAS, Albert A. White graciously bequeathed $25,000 to Ingham County to be used for improvements at Lake Lansing Park-North; and

WHEREAS, a boardwalk system, which provides access to over four miles of trails at Lake Lansing Park-North, is in need of major repairs and replacement; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Parks Board recommends to the Ingham County Board of Commissioners that the $25,000 donation from the estate of Albert A. White be accepted.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Ingham County Parks Board to accept the $25,000 donation from the estate of Albert A. White to be used to repair and replace the boardwalk system at Lake Lansing Park North.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners expresses its appreciation of the generosity of Mr. White.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that any amounts unexpended from the donation shall be used for facility improvement projects at Lake Lansing Park-North as approved by the Ingham County Parks Board.
