INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ICEA/COUNTY PROFESSIONAL COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT EXTENSION

RESOLUTION #04-303

WHEREAS, an Agreement has been achieved between the representatives of the Ingham County Employees’ Association and the County to extend the current Collective Bargaining Agreement for one year, i.e., January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005, covering employees in the County Professional unit; and

WHEREAS, the only change in the Agreement will be to provide a three percent (3%) wage increase across the board which will, however, also increase the health insurance benchmarks by three percent (3%) as required by current contract language; and

WHEREAS, the Agreement has been ratified by the employees within that bargaining unit; and

WHEREAS, the provisions of the agreement have been approved by the County Services and Finance Committees.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the contract with the Ingham County Employees’ Association for the County Professional Unit is hereby extended from January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005 granting a three percent (3%) wage increase; that the new rates will be effective pay period commencing December 25, 2004 and ending January 7, 2005; and, that the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign it on behalf of the County of Ingham.
