RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A BUDGET AMENDMENT TO THE CIRCUIT COURT ‑ FAMILY COURT JUVENILE DIVISION 2004 BUDGET
RESOLUTION #04-308
WHEREAS, the Ingham County Circuit Court, Family Division has identified a significant increase in projected expenses in private institution placements which will result in a deficit in the Juvenile Division Private Institutional Placement budget line item; and
WHEREAS, the Ingham County Circuit Court, Family Division has identified a significant under spending in other budget line items which will result in a surplus in the Juvenile Division’s total budget appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court, Family Division is requesting the Ingham County Board of Commissioners to transfer funds within their existing 2004 budget appropriation to increase their Private Institution Placement budget line item accordingly; and
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court, Family Division indicates that all budget line item transfers are a re-allocation of Juvenile Justice Millage funds and the total amount transferred reflects 50% Juvenile Justice Mileage and 50% State Child Care Fund.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the following budget transfers within the Circuit Court – Family Division 2003/2004 Child Care Fund budget:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is directed to make the necessary budgetary transfers within and to the 2003/2004 Child Care Fund budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any budget amendment/contract documents as prepared by or approved as to form by the County Attorney consistent with this resolution.
