INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION FROM THE WOMEN’S COMMISSION BUDGET AND CONTRACT WITH BALLENTINE STEPPING STONES CATHOLIC SOCIAL SERVICES OF LANSING/ST. VINCENT HOME, INC. AND THE GIRL SCOUTS OF MICHIGAN CAPITAL COUNCIL FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES

RESOLUTION #04-351

WHEREAS, the Women’s Commission has proposed to use a portion of their 2004 budget to contract with Ballentine Stepping Stones Catholic Social Services of Lansing/St. Vincent Home, Inc. and the Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners authorizes a contract with Ballentine Stepping Stones Catholic Social Services of Lansing/St. Vincent Home, Inc. in the amount of $2,000, and the Girl Scouts of Michigan Capital Council in the amount of $1,000 to provide services to county residents.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds for these contracts will come from the Women’s Commission 2004 budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the contract shall include a scope of work acceptable to the Women’s Commission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Controller is authorized make any necessary budget adjustments.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk authorized to sign the same.
