INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH

MLJ CONSULTING, INC.

RESOLUTION #06-127

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners has authorized system wide enhancements to the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch System; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners is contracting with MLJ Consulting, Inc. to provide project management services for the upgrade to the county wide Radio Communications Systems and will need additional funds to complete the Wireless Communications Systems project.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes   amending the contract with MLJ Consulting, Inc. for Wireless Communications Systems project management services, by increasing it from a cost not to exceed $450,613 to a figure of not to exceed $479,483.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds will come from the Ingham County Public Safety Radio Communications Systems approved Budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract amendment documents with MLJ Consulting, Inc., not to exceed an additional $28,870, as prepared by or approved as to form by the County Attorney consistent with this resolution.
