RESOLUTION TO REORGANIZE MANAGEMENT STAFFING OF THE
INGHAM
RESOLUTION #06-064
WHEREAS, the retirement of the Juvenile Services Director provided an opportunity to review and evaluate the management functions of the Juvenile Division of the Circuit Court; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Friend of the Court position being in charge of both the Friend of the Court and the Juvenile Division is too large of a responsibility for one person, even though the current Friend of the Court staff member has done a wonderful job in that capacity; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Judge, Presiding Judge and Family Division Judges are supportive of having a Deputy Court Administrator/Friend of the Court and a Deputy Court Administrator/Juvenile Division; and
WHEREAS, an analysis of the following Juvenile Division Management positions has been done by the Human Resources Department including the following: Youth Center Director, Intensive Neglect Service Assistant Administrator, Juvenile Service Director, Juvenile Program Director, Chief Attorney Referee and Deputy Court Administrator/Juvenile Division; and
WHEREAS, that analysis recommends an increase in annual salary for two management positions and moving a Senior Juvenile Court Officer position to a Child Care Funded position.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following reorganization of the Management Staffing of the Juvenile Division, as recommended by Human Resources Director, take place effective the first full pay period after the passage of this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to make the appropriate adjustments to the Position Allocation List and the 2006 budget consistent with this resolution.
