RESOLUTION TO CHANGE A JOB TITLE AND CLASSIFICATION

WITHIN THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT

RESOLUTION #07-329

WHEREAS, a Health Analyst/Systems Analyst position at the PRO-10 level was created by reclassification when the Health Department was managing the CACVoices.org website and the Data Democratization Project associated with the Community Voices Initiative; and

WHEREAS, the Health Department no longer manages either the CACVoices.org website or the Data Democratization Project; and

WHEREAS, the position is currently vacant; and

WHEREAS, the Health Department desires to fill the position; and

WHEREAS, the job description and duties of a Health Analyst PRO-8, the original title and classification of the position, adequately covers the education and skill requirements needed by the Health Department; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Employees Association Professional Union agrees with the classification change from the Health Analyst/Systems Analyst (PRO-10) to a Health Analyst, PRO-8 position.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the change in the position from Health Analyst/Systems Analyst PRO-10 (Position #601015) to Health Analyst PRO-8.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the change is effective immediately.
