RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH

WIGEN, TINCKNELL, MEYER & ASSOCIATES (WTM)

FOR CONSULTING SERVICES AT OUR SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH

RESOLUTION #08-087

WHEREAS, Our Savior Lutheran Church is in need of some mandatory code and operational improvements to be completed prior to the start of the 2008 school year; and

WHEREAS, Wigen, Tincknell, Meyer & Associates have previously provided Ingham County with a study regarding code and operational improvements needed at Our Savior Lutheran Church and are knowledgeable regarding the deficiencies needing to be addressed; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Facilities Department to award a contract to Wigen, Tincknell, Meyer & Associates who submitted a bid in the amount of $42,394.00 for consulting fees; and

WHEREAS, funds for this project are available through line item, 401-90016-818000 for Our Savior Lutheran Church.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes awarding a contract to Wigen, Tincknell, Meyer & Associates, 100 S. Jefferson Avenue, Suite 601, Saginaw, Michigan 48607, for consulting services to prepare bid documents and specifications at Our Savior Lutheran Church, for a total cost not to exceed $42,394.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk to sign any necessary documents that are consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
