RESOLUTION MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO COMMISSIONER DISTRICT 8

RESOLUTION #09-287

WHEREAS, County Commissioner Marc Thomas resigned as Ingham County Commissioner for District 8 effective August 25, 2009; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to State statute, this Board of Commissioners is required to fill vacancies by appointment within thirty (30) days (MCL 46.412); and

WHEREAS, applicants of candidates interested in filling this vacancy were interviewed.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Shelby Bupp is hereby appointed as County Commissioner for District 8, to be effective immediately upon taking the required oath of office.
