RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF ATTORNEY/CLIENT PRIVILEGED COMMUNICATION

RESOLUTION #09-288

WHEREAS, the County Attorney has issued an Attorney/Client Privileged legal opinion dated September 15, 2009 regarding filling a Commissioner vacancy; and

WHEREAS, the County Services Committee has requested the release of the Attorney/Client Privileged communication; and

WHEREAS, the County Attorney believes the release of this opinion would not have any negative effect on pending litigation or other legal matters; and

WHEREAS, the County Services Committee recommends that this opinion be released.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the release of the Attorney/Client Privileged legal opinion from Cohl, Stoker, Toskey & McGlinchey, P.C. dated September 15, 2009 regarding filling a Commissioner vacancy;
