RESOLUTION HONORING CHARLES STRINGHAM

RESOLUTION #09-290

WHEREAS, the Webberville Masonic Lodge and Citizen of the Year Committee each year recognizes a outstanding volunteer; and

WHEREAS, Charles Stringham has been chosen as the Webberville Area Citizen of the Year for 2009; and

WHEREAS, Charles served his country as a Marine in World War II; and

WHEREAS, Charles has been a member in the community for many years and is an active member of the Webberville United Methodist Church; and

WHEREAS, Charles has been involved in the community and in the schools in many ways, speaking at the Memorial Day Ceremony honoring the military from the area, maintaining the monument by planting flowers and caring for them during the summer and volunteering at the school for track meets and wherever he is needed; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honors Charles Stringham as the 2009 recipient of the Webberville Area Citizen of the Year Award, the Board sincerely appreciates the contributions he has made to the citizens of Ingham County and congratulates him on receiving such an award.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
