RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE HOURS OF THE

FRIEND OF THE COURT OFFICE

RESOLUTION #09-314

WHEREAS, the Friend of the Court’s Office at the Veterans Memorial Courthouse is currently open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.; and

WHEREAS, the mandate to reduce costs and increase efficiency presents an opportunity to review and evaluate functions of the Friend of the Court Office for better efficiency and cost savings; and

WHEREAS, it would make for better administration of the department to change the office hours; and

WHEREAS, the majority of the Judges support the proposed new hours.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Friend of the Court’s Office will open at 8:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. effective January 1, 2010.
